Description
The VersEseal Medium Box Gutter Repair Kit – Multiflex is a complete waterproofing system for repairing leaking gutters, box gutters, gutter joints, flashing and other problem areas where potable water approval is not required. Designed to waterproof areas up to 8m², the kit includes the key products needed to fill larger gaps, reinforce joints and damaged areas, and create a flexible, seamless waterproof membrane over the gutter surface.
VersEseal Multiflex is a liquid-applied waterproofing membrane designed to accommodate the movement, expansion and contraction commonly experienced in metal roof and gutter systems. It can be applied by brush or roller and, once cured, forms a continuous waterproof barrier without the joins associated with sheet membranes. The system is suitable for repairing isolated gutter leaks or waterproofing the entire box gutter where the existing substrate is sound and properly prepared.
Our Multiflex Medium Box Gutter Repair Kit includes:
- VersEseal Multiflex Waterproofing Membrane – 8kg – VersEseal Multiflex is a flexible waterproofing membrane suitable for roof and gutter repairs, box gutters, joints, penetrations and other areas subject to movement. For full gutter waterproofing, Multiflex should be applied at a minimum total rate of 1kg/m², with additional membrane applied over reinforced joints and repair areas in accordance with the VersEseal Box Gutter Application Guide. The 8kg quantity supplied in this kit is suitable for waterproofing a main gutter area of up to approximately 8m².
- VersEseal Rubber Caulk – 2 x 300ml – VersEseal Rubber Caulk is included for filling larger gaps, joints and difficult areas prior to application of the waterproofing membrane. Its flexible formulation makes it particularly useful in roof and gutter repairs where movement can occur between adjoining surfaces.
- VersEseal Geo Fabric – 20Lm x 100mm – VersEseal Geo Fabric is used to reinforce vulnerable areas including gutter joins, corners, penetrations, cracks, gaps and damaged sections. The Geo Fabric is embedded into the wet VersEseal Multiflex membrane to provide additional strength and reinforcement in areas more likely to experience movement or further cracking.
- Application Brush – 1 included – A brush is included for applying VersEseal Multiflex to repair areas, around joints, corners and other detailed areas of the gutter.
Suitable for Gutter and Box Gutter Repairs
The VersEseal Multiflex Gutter Repair System can be used over a range of suitably prepared roof and gutter substrates, including galvanised metal, Colorbond steel, concrete, timber, unglazed tiles, decramastic roofing and coolroom panels. Its flexibility also makes it suitable for waterproofing joints between different substrates that may expand and contract at different rates as temperatures change.
Correct surface preparation is essential for long-term waterproofing performance. Existing failed sealants, loose material, dirt and flaky rust should be removed where possible, and rusted areas treated with VersEseal Rust Convertor & Primer before the waterproofing system is applied. Joints, penetrations and damaged areas should be reinforced with VersEseal Geo Fabric as detailed in the VersEseal Box Gutter Application Guide.
Potable Water Applications
This Multiflex Gutter Repair Kit is intended for gutters where potable water approval is not required. VersEseal Multiflex is currently undergoing testing for potable water applications and should not be used as the exposed waterproofing membrane in gutters that collect drinking or other potable water until testing is complete and suitability has been confirmed.

Repair Rather Than Replace
Where a gutter or box gutter is otherwise sound but has leaking joints, cracks, gaps or localised deterioration, the VersEseal Small Box Gutter Repair Kit provides a practical way to repair and waterproof the existing gutter without complete gutter replacement. The combination of a flexible liquid membrane, reinforced Geo Fabric and Rubber Caulk allows problem areas to be treated as part of a continuous waterproofing system rather than relying solely on conventional joint sealants.
